Our senior friends and family members have very specific emotional needs. Supporting balanced emotions for your elderly family members or friends includes ensuring they feel safe, useful, and reassured that their life continues to have meaning. They are often fighting feelings of loneliness and may spend many of their days alone feeling bored and isolated.
Some oils that can help relieve these emotions are:
🍈 Bergamot – Encouraging, transforms negative emotions such as hopelessness or grief, supports positive self-esteem, emotionally uplifting.
👼 White Angelica – Promotes feelings of protection and security, emotionally relaxing. Brings joy and love, can help guard against the negative energy of other people around you.
🌿 Clary Sage – Calming, with a mental-emotional uplift, reassuring, useful for clarifying the mind and bringing one back to the present moment
🍊 Grapefruit – Mood-boosting, can help soothe feelings of sadness or anxiousness.
🌳 Frankincense – Increases feelings of self-worth, grounding, and confidence booster.
🏝 Stress Away – Reduces tension, boosts mood, balances emotions.
😢 Grief Roller - As our family members age, with the loss of loved ones and friends, grief becomes a frequent state of emotion for them. Consider making them a Grief Roller bottle, a blend of 10 drops Orange Essential oils, 9 drops of Cypress, 8 drops of Sacred Frankincense, 3 drops Neroli, 2 drops Rose, with a carrier oil in a 10 ml roller bottle.
